One little known fact is that I’m obsessed with the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood, especially the versions dating prior to the Brothers Grimm. As important as the Brothers Grimm might be, their version is (dare I say it?) boring. If you don’t know any of the earlier versions, you miss out on things such as cannibalism and implied sexuality. In some versions, Little Red escapes all by herself, in others she gets eaten. Either way, no male hero (Huntsman) to save the day. You can read them over here.
Anyway, of course I’ve tried to create my own version of this tale. There are basically two versions, or parts, of my interpretation. Personally, I love them both for very different reasons.
