Daily Prompt- Ghostwriter : If you could have any author –living or dead – write your biography, who would you choose?
I’ve been thinking about this one for a while now, trying to remember whose writing style mezmerized me the first time I’ve got my hand(s) on their book. Looking through my bookshelf didn’t really help. First, Nabokov came to my mind. Yes, there is plenty of controversy surrounding his book Lolita, but what stayed with me ever since I’ve read the book for the first time was the writing style. Then my eyes wandered around and I decided I wanted Henry Adams to write my hypothetical biography. I’ve never heard of Henry Adams before I’ve read his autobiography The Education of Henry Adams, one of the most funniest ways to disguise an autobiography as a biography. Soon after that, I decided it that it would be so cool to see what China Mievielle would come up with if he had to write my biography. He’s an authour with one of the most fascinating imaginations out there and I totally would want him to write a bizarre interpretation of my life.
I couldn’t pick an authour and constantly thought that it would be so cool if each could write one chapter of my biography in their particular style when it began to dawn on me! I wouldv’e wanted James Joyce to write a Ulysses-esque biography of my life. History is subjective, so why not make the best of it and turn my biography into something worth reading?
