My goals for this summer are to improve my Russial language skills by re-reading The Lord of the Rings, a book I know by heart. Once I think my language skills are good enough, I’ll try my hands on Russian authors such as Pushkin and Gogol once again. Years ago, I’ve read Pushkin’s The Queen of Spades and several of his poems, but I failed miserably. Likewise, my attempts to read The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas in Russian was equally futile.
