“Every man’s life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another.” – Ernest Hemingway
I don’t know why, but I have this weird obsession with literary portraits. When you check my recent, and not so recent, art-related posts, one author portrait after another will greet you. This one was a result of a sketch I did a while ago for the cover of our university student paper. I’ve been doing a lot of digital art lately, but today I had this urge to bring out my water colours again.
So I’ve did a few portraits already (including Tolkien, Shakespeare, Dickens, Banks, and Poe). Is there any author you’d like me to draw next? Leave a comment down below!
